The presentation was made Saturday, March 6 by Honorary Consul General Gary Gandrud at Lakselaget, a woman’s organization Hoyum co-founded. The medal is conferred as a reward for services in advancing knowledge of Norway abroad and for strengthening the bonds between expatriate Norwegians and their descendants and their country of residence.  The announcement about Hoyum is found in this week’s Norway Times, front page, and she will be featured in Mindekirken’s April Communicator.

Membership Applications are available from the rack in the narthex, or by request from the church office.

Full membership is for those who wish to make Mindekirken their church home. Associate membership is for those who want to remain as full members of another church, but be included in the membership list and the general support of Mindekirken.

Simply Giving is an electronic giving option that steadily makes transfers from your banking account to Mindekirken's, at the rate which you determine. This is a convenient and accurate way to participate by giving your offering throughout the year, whether or not you are in town to attend church. Informational brochures are in the narthex (purple) or sent out by request.
