Musical Sunday School

Mindekirken offers a Musical Sunday School on each of the last Sundays of the month from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. (Sept - May)  Children of all ages meet in the Oslo room downstairs (parents always welcome to stay). Volunteers are welcome to help with the children.

The most well-known Sunday School songs in Norwegian and English are sung. This might be a nice way to learn a little bit of Norwegian! There is a piano and perhaps other instruments sometimes.

When the bi-lingual Family service begins at 11:00 a.m., the children will be invited to participate in a procession, and also to sing at the beginning of the service before the Children’s Sermon.

An Adult Education hour will also be offered at 10 a.m. on the last Sunday of the month, in the Fellowship Hall. (not on Jan. 28, 2007)

On other Sundays, there will be a Sunday School class at 11:00 a.m., during the Norwegian service, with emphasis on art and creativity, led by Bob Worrall. Nursery care is provided in the Kirkestua during the Norwegian service by prior arrangement with the church office.
