Kjære Gud, jeg har det godt
Takk for alt som jeg har fått
Du er god, du holder av meg
Takk at du går aldri fra meg.
Pass på liten og på stor
Gud bevare far og mor.
Dear God, I’m doing fine
Thank you for all that I have
You are good. You care about me.
Thanks, that you will never leave me.
Take good care of young and old.
God, take care of my father and my mother.
