It has been several years since Mindekirken had a picture directory made. This fall we are going to make one again. Mindekirken's Congregation Council has contracted with Olan Mills Church Directories to have this project done.

We have formed a committee of leaders consisting of Lena Schjoelberg, Marie Brown, PJ Romdahl, Cindy Peters and Magne Hatlevik that will handle practical matters like making announcements about the project, scheduling the photo sessions and deciding on the layout of the directory. Should you have questions or comments about the picture directory project, please talk with one of these people.

Olan Mills will set up for photo sessions in the church sanctuary on Tues, Nov. 12, Fri. Nov. 22 and Sat. Nov. 23. They use a Video Image Proofing system to produce the pictures. Each family photographed will receive a complimentary directory and a free 8x10 Custom Color Portrait from Olan Mills. Because of the Video Image Proofing System you will make only one trip to the church. Plan forty-five minutes to one hour for the entire process. All pose selections for the directory, your free 8x10 portrait, and any additional portrait purchases you may wish to make will be completed at this time. As an added incentive for those of you looking for the perfect Christmas gift, Olan Mills has told us that the photos will be completed and delivered before Christmas 2002. The directories will be completed in February 2003.

On Sun, Oct. 13, 20 and 27 there will be someone available after each of the services to schedule a date and time for your photo session. That is the time to make your appointment.
