Treasure Hunting

Summer is finally here. The flowers are coming out and so are the garage sales.  Our house even put out a sign and managed to clean out half a storage room.   It was a city event and we enjoyed greeting neighbors and friends while we all searched for new-old ‘treasures’.

I’ve heard Mindekirken described as a treasure.  Everyone will tell you about a different treasure they have discovered – the altar, the windows, the rosemaling or the history and culture.  Most will agree the congregation itself is our greatest treasure. And yes, it’s true – although founded 85 years ago, there are some people who are discovering Mindekirken for the very first time.

If you have found your hidden treasure – gratulere! And now you’ll see how Mindekirken brings out hidden treasures in people.  Share your talents and gifts by getting involved and help keep Mindekirken a vibrant congregation.   You’ll soon find Mindekirken is a treasure that can’t be kept a secret!

Yours in Christ,
