Distribution of Fund Income
The purpose of the fund is to provide annual distributions beyond the operating budget of this congregation.  Distributions are not intended for ordinary church operation.

Mindekirken Foundation History
In 1999, a group called Klubb 500 had a dream of establishing a fund of $500,000 as a source of income to help sustain Mindekirken’s life and mission.  They began fundraising and deposited their first $100 check in 2000.  As fundraising continued, it was decided that a legally established foundation, with a clearly stated purpose, organizational structure, procedures and, most importantly, strong and definite ties to Mindekirken, was needed.  A foundation would provide the necessary vehicle for the successful administration of gifts and endowments given for the purpose of providing financial support far into Mindekirken’s future.

The Mindekirken Foundation was officially incorporated in 2009.  Since then, the Mindekirken Foundation has made several grants to groups working on projects throughout the church.
