About the event
Have you ever been approached by someone asking to make a documentary of your life? Diane’s cousin, Dr. Rich Steen, a former manager of computer services at Harvard, did just that. Diane will share her life experiences, from pageant wins to serving as a missionary with her first husband Pr. John P. Hinderlie, to her ground-breaking work to institute the first training program for family childcare homes. A singer and a musician, she started prenatal-plus music classes in three churches. Diane has a long family legacy of ministry that reaches back five generations to a Haugesund emigrant. As Diane said, “The beat goes on.”
