This is an event of great importance in Vocal art performed in Bodø, Norway. Gracia Grindal made a special trip to Norway to provide the music text. We are fortunate to have a recording of this performance and at the recommendation of Pr Gunnar Kristiansen, the video will be replayed for TOH.

Hymn of Grace is a homage to the first organized group of Norwegian Immigrants who came to the USA two hundred years ago. The text to this work is written by Gracia Grindal, and the music is composed by Tore Johansen. This work was commissioned by Mindekirken, Minneapolis, and is a highlight of our church's Bicentennial celebration.
