About the event

The Haugo Bibliotek is officially opened in the Norway Block. This is a long-awaited center to make available a needed place for bygdelag groups and also individuals to research their family history. Several organizations have worked together to make this happen. Special books to research family history have been collected for years to make the Bygdelag Special Collections Room possible. Not only will there be help with family history, the second part of the center will add information about family history, Norwegian culture, country, and Norway today. The Saga Center had a special committee who worked to develop and design the center content. Not to be forgotten is a mischievous troll who has a home in the tunnel to remind us of Norwegian folklore.
